Shakira, ¿Eres Tu? or Are You Shakira? in English refers to a TikTok video of an impersonator of pop musician Shakira mimicking the singer's voice and dance moves. The video went viral on December 2022, starting a TikTok trend in which people replicate @jaycolindres' original video.
Origin
On December 20th, 2022, the TikTok creator @jaycolindres[1] uploaded a video dressed as the Colombian pop musician Shakira. In the video, a person walks behind him and says, "Shakira, ¿eres tu?" (Shakira, is that you?). The creator turns around and does a dance in ironic confirmation that he is Shakira. The video received 211 million views and 20 million likes in one month.
