Williams junior Logan Sargeant concluded his campaign in the FIA Formula 2 Championship in Abu Dhabi with his F1 Superlicence signed and sealed for 2023.
The 21-year-old required at least a sixth-place finish in the series to be granted his F1 pass but was ultimately classified fourth in the championship's final standings, also earning himself the title of Rookie of the Year in F2.

Next year, Sargeant will become the first American to start an F1 race since Alex Rossi in 2015, and the first driver from the U.S to compete full time in the sport since Scott Speed in 2007.
Sargeant has already taken part in three FP1 outings with Williams this season, but he'll begin his preparations for 2023 with the Grove-based outfit on Tuesday at Yas Marina at Pirelli's post-season tyre test.
