CoffeeSock to us is our dream found. It is a simple, thoughtful, and resourceful brand, one that makes us proud to be a part of and share with the world. We created a sustainable product, one that is built around community and ritual. CoffeeSock was birthed late 2011 in a 'necessity is the mother of invention' moment. Out of Chemex coffee filters, and with an old traveling Chorreador, aka 'coffee sock' from Costa Rica as inspiration, we made an organic fabric filter for the Chemex. It performed so well that we were inspired to create models for all popular coffee brewing processes. As we began to offer these for sale, the reception was so enthusiastic that we turned all of our attention to developing a brand, a family business, and to changing the world ONE SOCK AT A TIME! - Robert & Corina Guillory

CoffeeSock® filters are made in Austin, Texas. All filters are sewn and packaged by happy human beings making a fair and living wage. We are dedicated to keep manufacturing in the US and while it is currently not possible to obtain the 100% of the fabric that we need as US made, we are continually seeking that opportunity. Today our cotton is grown in Texas, India and Pakistan. All is GOTS certified Organic. GOTS also monitors labor practices and working conditions
A World With Less Trash
At CoffeeSock, our love for the beach (and the mountains and the forests and the rivers) inspired the need for our product. We’re committed to a world with less trash. This is why the CoffeeSock family adopted a stretch of Texas coast extending from North Padre Island to Mustang Island State Park. A few times each year, our CoffeeSock staff enjoy the coast with our friends and family and spend some time keeping it trash free.
