Europeans Badly Underestimate Scientists’ Agreement on Climate Change
A survey of people in six countries found they guessed the level of scientific consensus on climate change to be much lower than it actually is.

A recent poll found that the public across Europe greatly underestimates the extent to which scientists agree on climate change.
Europeans widely misperceive scientists’ views, according to a survey from King’s College London released Wednesday. On average, people estimated that the proportion of scientists who agree that man-made climate change is happening is 68% when in reality, the figure is nearly 100%.
