With the price of shipping increased seven-fold in the past 2 years, you would think that we are all moving gold bars and not just our entire life.

Minimalist is the way to go…. Even more minimalist that we are.


The rate for a 40-foot container to the United States from Asia topped US$20,000 (S$26,970) last year, including surcharges and premiums, up from less than US$2,000 a few years ago, and was recently hovering near US$14,000.

  2. atotaltaitaitale said: @heirloomz there are several places here: a cafe for sure and a place where I used to go for photography (the dark room is actually a container). We also stayed in a hotel in Perth that was made of pile up containers.
