Updates to Scenic Eclipse’s Dining and Wellness Offerings Unveiled

Over the past 12 months, Scenic has refined a number of its culinary experiences and venues onboard Scenic Eclipse.

Of note, the dining area of Yacht Club has been extended and a new multi-purpose food island has been installed to allow for a variety of relaxed dining experiences. House-made gelato will be served from a new gelato cooler, while new large sofas will replace the traditional tables and chairs, to encourage an interactive social ambience. Guests can also relax in the new wicker swinging egg chairs, positioned to provide views of the ocean.

The new Night Market @ Kokos takes its inspiration from night markets and street food dishes from all around Asia, India and the Middle East. Sushi @ Koko’s has also been expanded to include window seating for more guests to enjoy the traditional, authentic Japanese cuisine, while gazing out at sea.

According to corporate chef Tom Götter, the new Panorama Bar on Deck 10 will be “the place to be” on days spent at sea. Guests can expect a bar, vitality pools, deck chairs and cabanas. In addition, Chef Tom’s culinary team have also been developing new menus and feature dishes for the new season, including new menu creations curated for the exclusive Chef’s Table dining experience.

Beyond the culinary, an extensive new wellness menu and services will be available for guests at the Senses Spa, with the addition of a new manicure and pedicure area. Scenic’s partner ESPA has created a menu of spa services, including facials, massages and body treatments.

The onboard wellness center—PURE: Yoga & Pilates—offers included classes, as well as one-to-one sessions with instructors for a personalized experience. New classes have been added in 2021, including a range of holistic therapy sessions such as Aerial Yoga, TRX, Mindfulness Meditation and Tibetan sound bowl healing classes.

In 2019, Scenic introduced Scenic Eclipse. Hosting just 228 guests (200 in polar regions), the yacht offers a 1-to-1 guest-to-staff ratio, butler service, 10 dining experiences, a 5,600-square-foot spa, yoga and Pilates studio, vitality pools and bars, two helicopters, a six-guest submarine and an expert Discovery Team. A second yacht, Scenic Eclipse II, is planned to launch in 2023.
