Join us for episode 62 of Climate Change Roundtable, titled Embracing “Petro-Masculinity”
Yes, you read that right.
The left has come with yet another ridiculous label to slur climate realists, or for that matter, normal people just driving their car.
For example from a tweet this past week we learn this:
“Scholars like Cara Daggett have long pointed out the intersection between climate denial and misogyny through the concept of petro–masculinity, which describes the way that fossil fuel systems uphold patriarchy, white supremacy, and authoritarianism.”
Host Anthony Watts and expert weekly panelists H. Sterling Burnett and Linnea Lueken will embrace “petro-masculinity” 100% and point out that without it, the world would soon collapse. We’ll answer your questions too!
Set a reminder and tune in to join the conversation as we point out the absurdity of this label and poke fun at the claims.
Watch live here:
Cara Daggett is a political ‘scientist’ and I think she must be right about that misogyny. Because I feel that she really deserves a good spanking.
“Scholars like Cara Daggett have long pointed out the intersection between climate denial and misogyny through the concept of petro–masculinity, which describes the way that fossil fuel systems uphold patriarchy, white supremacy, and authoritarianism.”
This reads like a quote from the Babylon Bee. How is it even possible to satirise this?
Isn’t it amazing how the left automatically assumes that anyone who disagrees with them is sick and twisted.
Perfect case of projection.
I was reading this afternoon about a Democrat in Virginia who has declared that the only reason why parents get involved in their kids education is because they want to indoctrinate the kids.
Talk about throwing a NSFW thought grenade into a bunker – the tweet quoted touches every corporate taboo topic at once.
I read it as “Lets have a debate! But you can’t use any words.”
Does this mean that those who buy electric cars are expressing their feminine side?
I don’t necessarily disagree, but are they sure this is a winning argument?
“Scholars like Cara Daggett have long pointed out the intersection between climate denial and misogyny through the concept of petro–masculinity, which describes the way that fossil fuel systems uphold patriarchy, white supremacy, and authoritarianism.”
**************
Petro-masculinity? Do they mean that females don’t use fossil fuels?
As Tom Nelsen frequently states, “This isn’t about the climate, is it”.
Those he would destroy, he first makes mad.
