With electric grids flickering and going dark, and people returning to chopping trees to heat their homes, the foolishness of “net zero” radical climate policies is being exposed faster than even we at CFACT thought possible.
In 2019, the UK banned fracking, giving in to a scare campaign that exaggerated, among other things, the risk of earthquakes. Now PM Truss plans to rely on hydraulic fracturing to make plentiful, clean-burning natural gas available in Britain.

Politicians such as Truss continue to voice support for net zero climate policies, however, today’s harsh energy realities continue to intrude. Truss’s appointment of the climate skeptic Jacob Rees-Mogg, who vowed to extract “every last drop” of oil and gas from the North Sea, is another hopeful sign that energy reality is back.
Europe has invested a staggering fortune on intermittent wind and solar that have proven incapable of sustaining that continent’s power grid.
The world is experiencing a harsh awakening to energy reality.
