Former Afghanistan official apologises for his role in the fall of the country

The security advisor to the former Afghan president, Ashraf Ghani, has apologised for his role in the fall of the country.

Hamdullah Mohib fled the country by helicopter along with the president the day Kabul, the capital, fell.

Speaking to BBC World’s Matthew Amorilwala, he insisted that they had no choice.
