Now that Winona Ryder is pulling in the big bucks for her Netflix series Stranger Things, the big-hearted star is sharing her riches with her family, according to sources.

Ryder, 49, “came into the show as the highest paid cast member and then got a massive pay raise after it became a global hit,” dishes an insider, who says the actress is now making a whopping $1.1 million an episode.

“She’s not a greedy or tight-fisted person, so she thinks nothing of handing her parents a big fat check every month or making other family members, like her half-brother, Jubal, 52, part of her entourage,” the pal shares, adding that Ryder kept people on the payroll even when the series stopped shooting after season three amid the pandemic.

“Winona is very careful about who she trusts, which is why she likes having family members around her and is so generous with her money,” the source says. “It’s a win-win for everyone!”

While she is seemingly doing amazing now, Ryder has had many ups and downs.

She found great success in movies Beetlejuice (1988) and Edward Scissorhands (1990) starring with Johnny Depp — and the two started dating. Not long after however, her world turned upside down.

In 2001, Ryder was caught shoplifting. A source told OK! in January of this year that it "was a classic case of too much, too soon."

An insider shared that after her shoplifting incident, "Winona retreated to San Francisco, and spent years reading, meditating and going to therapy." Ryder was not "humiliated by what happened. People think she wanted to hide, but the real reason is she needed to work on herself."

Taking a break from Hollywood for all of those years truly helped Ryder, and a source even shares "she says quitting Hollywood saved her life."

The Netflix show Stranger Things was her comeback and she did just that. A source shared that "she's eager to get back to the big screen" after her recent success and major pay raise.
