April 2016. Kobe, Japan

The perk of being a chaperone for the softball team. C. was the youngest of the team and since she was under 15 it was easier for me to go with them than to do all the paperwork -and I’m sticking to that story!)

This is not the prettiest picture from the trip but this encompasses so well life as an expat, where you don’t just compete with your city rival teams but you travel to other countries to play rival teams (and sometimes you end up playing against the rival school from your city!).

Interesting fact for this trip:

This is trip number 2 (out of 3) just for the month of April that year.

This is trip number 1 (out of 2) in Japan for the month of April that year.

This was my 2nd earthquake (but way way less scary and not as close) in 12 months.

~~~Just a little FYI So for my last 200 days in Singapore I have decided to reblog, in no special order, a post from the 6 years I will have spent on the Little Red Dot.
*Well I changed my mind. Since it’s vacation time and I cannot travel I want to relive our experiences in Asia with a few pictures.
I have excluded pictures of our trips because I have already reposted them while we were stuck on our Little island during the past 2 years (& you can find them here!). PS: you will then get 2 posts a day!! ~~~
