The handsome hunk sat down with OK! to discuss where he may find love next, and what he's learned about himself before entering into his next relationship.

Since moving to New York City, Weber — known as Pilot Pete — has been busy flying around the world and making the Big Apple his new home; however, he's now ready to find that special someone, which led him to Chispa: The largest dating app for Latino singles in the U.S.

Noting that moving to New York after he was cast as Season 24's Bachelor had been "an awesome rest" — as Weber spent the past 10-11 months focusing on himself and "putting [himself] first" — the reality star tells OK! he's "organically" gotten to a point where he's ready to put himself out there again.

Not only has Weber entered the dating pool, with him joining Chispa for the possibility of finding a connection with someone over text — as he insists "it's a great sign" if "you can have a spark and you can have chemistry via texting and online without even seeing the person" — but he's also taking with him some things he's learned from his past relationships.

And while Weber has been on the most extraordinary Bachelor and Bachelorette dates imaginable, the pilot shares with OK! what an ideal first date would look like to him — and it's far from a helicopter ride to a picnic on a mountain that Bachelor Nation may expect.

Acknowledging he's very "adventurous" and "spontaneous" — given his on-the-go lifestyle as a United Airlines pilot — Weber admits he doesn't need all the glitz and glam to see if there's a real connection between the two. "What really matters to me for a first date is just allowing an opportunity for that connection, that spark, to see if it's really there," he confesses.

If it were up to Hannah Brown's former contestant, the first date could be something as simple as going to Central Park and sitting on a blanket, "just enjoying time with each other," he says. "Just locked eyes and hopefully allowing something beautiful to start from that first date. That's all I can ask for."

In between flying around and updating his Chispa profile — not to mention exploring the Big Apple with roommate and former The Bachelorette contestant Dustin Kendrick, along with their pups Tripp and Sophia, respectively — Weber has been gearing up to debut his first children's book The Adventures of Pilot Pete.

Calling it a "great passion project," the dog dad touches on what working on the book for the past year and a half has meant to him. "This is where the story of how that love for flying came to be," he explains.

Not only has Weber been able to work on the book with his family — as he follows in his dad's footsteps as a pilot — but he even incorporated some of his childhood memories into his project. The author tells OK! that the illustrations in his book "are inspired by pictures that were taken back in the day" when he was a youngster.

From his first time on an airplane to putting his dad's captain hat on, The Adventures of Pilot Pete illustrations document how Weber became the one-and-only Pilot Pete.
