China: Political consultants talk about AI ethical regulations, laws


(MENAFN) Chinese political consultants talked about and provided propositions on artificial intelligence (AI)-linked moral and lawful matters at a bi-weekly seminar on Wednesday, December 23.

The class, held by the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), China's top political advisory body, was chaired over by Wang Yang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the CPPCC National Committee.

Stressing taking advantage of AI to construct China's strength in science, Wang demanded dealing with the moral and lawful matters linked to AI growth from a dialectical, historical and comprehensive viewpoint.
