Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson has confirmed recent reports that she is dating a 20-year-old.
The 16-year-old shared a photo with Dralin Carswell via Instagram on Monday, September 27. In the shot, the two rocked matching t-shirts featuring mummies emblazoned with the phrase, “That’s How I Roll”. The pair — who are holding hands — appear to be at a Halloween-themed event.
According to E! News, Thompson captioned the photo — which appears to have since been deleted, and included a 'Bae' sticker— "spooky season".
Alana was accepted into college in Colorado after Dralin's arrest.
In August, The Sun reported that the Toddlers & Tiaras alum was secretly dating Carswell, who is four years her senior. “Dralin and Alana are attached at the hip and hang out together all the time,” a source told the outlet at the time. “He was quiet at first, but he’s like one of the family now. He's just as fun and crazy as the rest of them.”
Though the publication reported that Thompson’s older sisters Anna, Lauryn and Jessica approve of Carswell, it is unclear how their mother June ‘Mama June’ Shannon, feels about her teenage daughter dating an older man.

Shannon is reportedly enjoying her own newfound romance: The TV personality has been rumored to be dating 24-year-old Jordan McCollum, with the two recently being spotted in Las Vegas.
The From Not To Hot alum was previously linked to Geno Doak. Their troubled relationship played out on Mama June: Road to Redemption, as they both dealt with addiction. As OK! previously reported, Doak recently checked into rehab, while his ex has reportedly been sober for about a year and a half.
In August, Thompson opened up about dealing with her mother's addiction. “When my mama got real bad with her [drug use], I didn’t know where I was going to end up,” the teen — whose been under her older sister Lauryn's care since 2019 — told Teen Vogue. “I’m proud of myself for how far I’ve come.”
