Inter will try to sign Atalanta left wing back Robin Gosens, even if the deal will be hard to come by, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are looking to strengthen their left wing back position this summer and have been considering many options, like Emerson Palmieri, Marcos Alonso, Kostic and Junior Firpo. Gosens, however, is the Milanese club’s top choice.

Inter have a good relationship with Atalanta, the report continues, and for the last three summers the two teams have done business. The Bergamo based club are interested in Italian teenager Sebastiano Esposito, and although the Nerazzurri don’t want to give him up permanently, the player could be included in a possible deal. It may be difficult to find a deal but the Nerazzurri will try regardless. Gosens has made 32 appearances across all competitions so far this season, scoring nine goals and providing six assists in that time.
