Cynthia Erivo Wore Lanvin To The 2021 NAACP Image Awards

Cynthia Erivo was one of the guest presenters for the 2021 NAACP Image Awards, which was held virtually on Saturday (March 27).

As you know I have been gushing over Cynthia’s style for about 3 years now, and that love only intensified at the start of this year with breath-taking look after breath-taking look.

But I really struggled with this Lanvin Spring 2021 dress.

You know how I feel about illusion panels.   If I can clearly see it, then that is an immediate strike against the look.

I don’t find the drop waist nature of this skirt flattering at all, as it makes her appear very bottom heavy.

And to top it off, the very visible brown underwear was the final nail in the coffin.

As much as it pains me.  This was a no on every possible level for Cynthia.
