Google's pretty much abandoned WearOS. It's gotten so bad the smartwatch makers are starting to roll their own OSes. I'd hold off on any smartwatch for a while to see how this shakes out.

I like Fossil's semi smart watches. They have like 2 month battery lives.

Every review says it's terrible BUT, if you want a smart watch just for being a watch that can change faces this might be the deal for you.

But who would want that? You'll be keep charging your watch every night for the only purpose of looking at the time on some pixelated low resolution watch face. Don't forget it's a thick watch like all smart watches even compared to an Automatic one.

I wouldn't recommend any WearOS watch with less than 1GB RAM. Falster 2 only has 512MB RAM and it will be sluggish to use.

WearOS is pretty bad but there are rumors that Samsung will launch a new product and they are working with Google to breathe some new life into the project. There was also a recent survey that Google did for WearOS users which shows that they are looking at making improvements.

IF you compare this against every other smartwatch yes, it's terrible
BUT

If you lower your expectations, and treat it was a nice $100 watch with smart features, it's an excellent stylish watch. I love the look vs most Fossil's.

WearOS is absolute trash, however the Skagen watch faces are nice, and I only paid $99 for mine. Its the nicest $99 watch I have.
