Pasco — Cinnamon

Cinnamon is a 2-year-old, mixed breed female dog. At 75-pounds, she’s big, but her house manners are impeccable. She’s very polite and non-destructive is her things, and yours. She’s uncertain of new people and would do best in a quiet, adult only home. For more information, contact the Pasco County Animal Services at 813-929-1212.

Manatee — Merida

Merida is a 5-month-old female kitten. She arrived at the shelter with a serious eye injury and the eye had to be removed. Even so, she’s very energetic and loves to play. She’s shy with humans until she gets to know you. Then, you’ll have a lap warmer for life. If you would like to meet her, call the Manatee County Animal Services at 941-742-5933, or e-mail adoptions@mymanatee.org.

Pinellas — Bucco Bruce

Bucco Bruce is a male cat of undetermined age. Formerly, he roamed the streets freely. After a visit to Friends of Strays for vaccinations and neutering, shelter staff determined he’s more suited for indoor life. He’s friendly, social and loves to cuddle. He’s become acclimated to being surrounded by people and happily awaits meeting a forever family. Please know Bruce is toothless, yet healthy, and requires a wet food diet. For more information, contact Friends of Strays at 727-522-6566.

Hernando — Biscotti

Biscotti is a 1-year-old, brown and white male Terrier mix. He was found running loose in Brooksville and happily jumped into a Good Samaritan’s car for a ride to the shelter. He’s very active and loves people, but he’s not fond of other animals. Since he’s still a puppy, his high energy level makes him best suited to a home with a fence in yard. For more information, call Hernando County Animal Services at 352-796-5062.
