BTS came out on top at the 2021 American Music Awards, winning three awards including Artist of the year.

The record-breaking Korean group also collected the awards for Favourite Pop Duo Or Group and Favourite Pop Song for ‘Butter’ at the ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday (November 21).

On the red carpet V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Jimin, and J-Hope all wore Louis Vuitton as official ambassadors for the brand.

Usually they are a cool collective, but on this occasion, I found myself preferred those who opted out of wearing the Spring 2022 belted jackets.

The belts didn’t work, as they looked awkward and cumbersome to me.

BTS also performed at the AMAs, joining Coldplay to sing their collaboration ‘My Universe.’

I much preferred these looks from Givenchy as this is how I would expect a bunch of 20-something boys adored by fans all over the world to dress.

The oversized, streetwear looks were proportionate and well-balanced with lug boots to solidify the cool aesthetic.

The boys are known for wearing high end brands that we all know, but they will also use their platform to shine a light on designers closer to home.

For their performance of their song, ‘Butter’ the group opted for looks from Tailorable, a Seoul-based menswear.

You know I love a theme so the fact that the guys wore different shades of yellow/butter, made this even more endearing.

This should’ve been their red carpet look, but it does make better sense for their performance.

I love that they all have a look that matches their individual personalities and styles, and that there are so many textures to go along with the many shades of yellow.

This was their best set of looks of the night for me.
