Ava DuVernay Wore Dundas & St John For The ‘Colin in Black & White’ Screening & Premiere

Ava DuVernay Wore Dundas & St John For The 'Colin in Black & White' Screening & Premiere

The Netflix mini-series, â€˜Colin in Black & White,’ a story about the life and career of civil rights activist and former NFL quarterback, Colin Kaepernick, is executive produced by Ava DuVernay.

I personally love the director when she opts for colour, but she was very much on theme with her latest looks for the New York screening and LA premiere.

For the New York screening she showed her stripes wearing this Dundas Dakota wrap-effect zebra-print dress from the Pre-Fall 2021 collection, which might be her boldest print to date.

Her second look for the LA premiere was a lot less literal opting for a black St John and Alice + Olivia look.

What I adore about both looks, especially the second one, is the fact that she is giving us two totally different silhouettes.

As much as I have loved how flattering her signature silhouette was, I’m enjoying this newfound confidence to try something new.  Especially when the results are this beautiful.
