Starting with "the BAE Systems Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles" as a platform to build on, this ADRENALIN Industries camper conversion is one for the books.
The XD 4400 is based on the BAE Systems Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) architecture, and this two-axle standard cab example is said to be about one of 50 produced for the civilian market under the Titan brand. The 2014 Action Mobil camper cabin was installed under current ownership, and the ensemble is finished in beige with Adrenalin Industries graphics, gray lower accents, and a black front bumper. A hydraulic lift with a motorcycle rack, a spare-wheel carrier, and a beige cover is present at the rear, and other exterior details include front tow hooks, an over-cabin aluminum roof rack, dual side ladders, a front LED light bar, and an external fuel tank. The motorcycle pictured on the hydraulic lift in the gallery is not included in the sale.
Even with that 6.7 liter 6 cylinder diesel under the hood, I have some concerns about the weight of this thing. I mean, it looks BADASS but all the luxury stuff packed into the monster is heavy. I also note no front locker.
The living quarters feature a power-adjustable table, dual bench seats with gray cushions, and hardwood floors. The kitchenette includes stainless-steel countertops, a matching sink, a four-burner Gaggenau propane range with a stainless-steel cover, a refrigerator and freezer, and a Cramer propane convection oven. A Cruise N Comfort air-conditioning system has been added, and heating is from a Webasto three-zone hydronic system with lines in the floors, the bathroom, and underneath the bed. Other features include an Action Mobil electrical control panel, hardwood cabinetry, and an Alpine entertainment system that consists of a stereo, DVD player, speakers, subwoofer, and display screen.
The bathroom features a Thetford cassette toilet, wood flooring with integrated drainage, and a full-height shower with a 105-gallon fresh water supply.
The rear sleeping quarters feature a queen mattress resting on heater coils controlled by an independent thermostat. Additional accommodations are provided by the dinette couches, which fold to form a second bed.
The electrical system includes a roof-mounted 480-watt solar panel system, an MPPT solar charge controller, a 200-ah lithium-ion battery system, a Victron Phoenix 120-volt inverter, a Mastervolt battery isolator, and a Mastervolt system monitor.
I do not know what a Webasto three-zone hydronic system is but holy moly. I hope they don't get stuck someplace hard to retrieve.
