When your friend tells you: “Let me know when you go to Gardens By The Bay to shoot the Christmas lights”.

Your first reaction is “Well I didn’t know I was supposed to go to Gardens By The Bay to shoot the Christmas lights” then you realize your hubby has work functions two nights this week so come to the conclusion that going to Gardens By The Bay to shoot the Christmas lights might not be such a bad idea after all.
I had my camera and my tripod in my backpack and shot all of my pictures with my iPhone 😂.

4-Dec-2021: D-197 before departure 🇸🇬

‘Tis the season.

Even after 6 Christmas in the somewhat Southern Hemisphere (well technically Singapore is 1° NORTH of the equator) it still feels weird to not be freezing and/or have snow on the ground. I mean you just need to look at Santa’s outfit and you know it’s supposed to be cold!!

But Singapore lack of freezing temperatures is compensated with their display of Christmas lights everywhere (they love light for any festivities) and blasting Christmas songs with snow lyrics ;-)

On a side note, I’m grateful for friends who still call me to go shoot and push me, even more these past couple years.

~~~ Just a little FYI So for my last 200 days in Singapore I have decided to reblog, in no special order, a post from the 6 years I will have spent on the Little Red Dot. I have excluded pictures of our trips because I have already reposted them while we were stuck on our Little island during the past 2 years (& you can find them here!). PS: you will then get 2 posts a day!! ~~~
