Natalia Bryant proves she's a fashion risk-taker as she rocks a bubble-shaped floral gown during her Met Gala debut

Natalia Bryant proved she isn't afraid to take a few risks on the red carpet as she made her Met Gala debut on Monday night.

The 18-year-old model daughter of late basketball legend Kobe Bryant was full of drama while strutting her stuff in a sequined balloon-shaped gown from Conner Ives, which was handpicked by Vogue EIC Anna Wintour.

Keeping things playful, her frock featured a small train and  was dressed up with pink satin heels.

Echoing her dress's effervescent look, Natalia had her hair styled into a big 50s-inspired beehive.

Her look definitely had people talking.

Within minutes, the frock had social media divided, with some comparing her dress to a 'Christmas ornament' and others calling it 'youthful.'

Despite some Twitter users slamming Wintour's wardrobe choice for the model, Natalia explained she 'definitely wanted to do something really fun and young.'

'I'm so glad Anna Wintour allowed me to wear this exhibit dress. This just feels like a dream,' the USC freshman raved to ET. 'Everyone's just been so welcoming and nice.'

One Twitter user noted that the evening was filled with eyebrow-raising looks.

'Some Met Gala looks aren’t it. Kim K looks like the grim reaper, they did Natalia Bryant wrong by giving her a dress that looks like a gum ball machine but she still looks beautiful, Rihanna & A$AP Rocky look like they are covering themselves with blanket,' they tweeted.
