Varun Dhawan and
Natasha Dalal may have had to postpone their big
Bollywood shaadi by a year but the highschool sweethearts are finally married. The couple, along with their families, drove down to Alibaug to tie the knot at a plush resort hotel there, that not only afforded them privacy but also doubled up as the beach destination they had wanted for their wedding. While they checked off most things on the list including a bachelor's party, sangeet, haldi, and mehndi ceremonies, the duo did have to compromise on the guest list thanks to the threat of Covid-19 that's still looming large.
From what we hear, the newly-married couple has planned a reception party for their friends and the film fraternity at a suburban five-star hotel on February 2.
With no wedding to attend, it was work as usual for Varun's friends and co-stars, who would have otherwise dressed up in their best and posed and preened for the paparazzi.
Varun's 'Student Of The Year' co-star
Sidharth Malhotra, who had kicked off the year in the Maldives with rumoured girlfriend,
Kiara Advani, stepped out for a Sunday lunch with her. Interestingly, the actor's parents, who are in town, also joined the couple for the outing.

Remember the time Varun and Arjun Kapoor had made an appearance together on Karan Johar’s chat show? While the filmmaker made it to the wedding, looking every bit the fashion icon that he is, Arjun had to give it a miss. The actor was instead spotted shooting for his upcoming film ‘Bhoot Police’ in Bandra.

Sara Ali Khan was busy promoting ‘Coolie No 1’ with Varun last month. But since then, the actress has been holidaying. Currently, she is in the Maldives with mother Amrita and brother Ibrahim. On Sunday, while her co-star was getting hitched, the actress was fretting over post-binge bloat and rhyming it with float, gloat, and bloat.

Meanwhile, Varun’s namesake and ‘Dilwale’ co-star Varun Sharma is playing best man at his bhai’s shaadi. No, not Varun’s wedding. The actor is having a gala time at a friend’s wedding and even dancing with the baarat in Jodhpur, miles away from Alibaug.
Taapsee Pannu, who had worked with Varun in ‘Judwaa 2’ is having the time of her life at the Kutch festival where she is shooting for her upcoming film, ‘Rashmi Rocket’. On Sunday, she posted a picture of herself posing against the backdrop of the stark Rann of Kutch.
