Here's Norm Macdonald's brilliant bit on cancer, a decade before it killed him

Norm Macdonald (RIP) from his 2011 Comedy Central special Me Doing Standup, a decade before dying of cancer:

In the old days, a man could just get sick and die. Now, they have to 'wage a battle'… The reason I don't like it is because in the old days, they'd go: 'Hey, that old man died.' Now, they go: 'Hey, he lost his battle.' That's no way to end your life: 'What a loser that guy was! Last thing he did was lose'…

Now I'm no doctor, but I'm pretty sure that if you die, the cancer also dies at exactly the same time. So to me, that's not a loss, that's a draw.
