Inter have moderate optimism regarding their chances of finalising a deal to sign Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen this month according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

Eriksen has already agreed terms over a move to the Nerazzurri and is keen to get the move done this month rather than wait until the Summer.

Spurs want to move him on this month to ensure that they get something for him rather than losing him for nothing at the end of the season due to his expiring contract status.

They are demanding €20 million for the 27-year-old and are already prepared for his departure having brought in Gedson Fernandes from Benfica in the past few days.

Inter do not wish to spend as much as that due to the fact they could wait a few weeks and get Eriksen for free and the report goes on to add that Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has travelled to London to hold more talks with Spurs.
