All of these were shot for a couple of dollars. But they didn’t really have any outlets for them in those days. No one was offering me any money. I wanted to do them and David wanted me to do them, so I just did them. But it was a lot of years before they started to show up. Obviously, David started to pop up here and there on MTV. But nowadays, they are in museums all over the world, including the MOMA. They were inducted a few years ago, along with David’s other videos as part of their permanent collection.
