ALTERNATE TITLE: Coming Soon: Virtues- and Bahá’í-based Sunday school YouTube video series
Backstory
When my eldest was preschool age, I did not have much of a community to take them to Sunday school, so after re-reviewing Book 3 of the Ruhi Institute series about the Bahá’í faith, I felt confident but I wanted it to be a way to improve behavior too. I researched snd discovered Enable Me To Grow’s Radiant Heart series which is Bahá’í- and virtue-based as well. My Mother also got me Teacher’s book from The Virtues Project to see if I could incorporate. The other thing I knew I wanted was exposures to other faiths except I didn’t know any Muslims and living in the Deep South at the time, I did not know any true Christian scholars that could be as fact-based as possible without their sect influencing them or the desire to “convert” others. So, I researched the Quran and the (International) Bible for quotes and stories to also discuss. It is a very time consuming project.
I just want my children exposed to all Faiths/Path’s to God, so they can make the best choice for them. I don’t care what religion they choose. I want them to find their own path in life and to God. Everyone is different which means their paths are different.
Now, this was years ago and with COVID’s Delta Variant running amok (and having a three year old), I thought I would try this again. Hopefully, a bit improved this time. 😊 I also will be including crafts from Pinterest, of course.
