Your WR top 80 5.0 is here! Injuries to the top wideouts have caused quite a shift in the landscape. Now that about a quarter of the fantasy regular season is in the books, some big tier jumps and falls have taken place as I am now putting more weight into current events and waving goodbye to my off season beliefs.

This list is not league or format specific, but it is based on 2020 rest-of-season projection only. When thinking through tiers and rankings I asked myself simply – “all things considered who would I rather have on my roster?”

Rank Change Name Team Notes
    Tier 1
+1 DeAndre Hopkins ARI I wouldn’t want any other guy as my WR1 right now
+2 Tyreek Hill KC With the injuries to the consistent studs, Hill rises to top tier
    Tier 2
-2 Davante Adams GB Rare alpha WR but soft tissue injuries linger; could be back week 4 but tentative
+7 Calvin Ridley ATL Was producing with Julio and now is clearly the main guy in A-town
+13 Tyler Lockett SEA Seattle a fantasy bonanza and Lockett the target leader
+1 Robert Woods LAR After two tough matchups where he still got in the zone, back to back cupcakes up
+14 Stefon Diggs BUF I can’t believe it but Josh Allen to Diggs is a match made in heaven
+10 Kenny Golladay DET Came back with a bang and should elevate the entire offense
+7 D.K. Metcalf SEA I want any piece of the Seahawks right now and Metcalf is their most explosive player
+4 JuJu Smith-Schuster PIT I have volume concerns but he’s Ben’s favorite endzone target
+9 Amari Cooper DAL The touchdowns will come but he’s seeing awesome targets in an elite offense
    Tier 3
-4 Michael Thomas NO Will miss 2-4 more weeks
-10 Julio Jones ATL Julio usually toughs it out but we’ll have to keep an eye on his hamstring
+5 Keenan Allen LAC Herbert may be the best thing to happen to Allen; looking like a draft day steal
-6 Allen Robinson CHI Nick Foles should help Robinson but the context stinks
-10 D.J. Moore CAR The offense isn’t clicking and Robby Anderson is more of a threat than projected
-4 Mike Evans TB With Godwin out he should see more volume but this isn’t the Winston offense
+9 Tyler Boyd CIN We could be witnessing a passing of the torch in Cincy
-9 Terry McLaurin WAS My confidence in Haskins is waning and McLaurin’s ceiling is hindered as a result
-8 Adam Thielen MIN He will continue to be reliable but I doubt the ceiling
    Tier 4
+7 Will Fuller HOU Came back without missing a beat; being used in the old Hopkins role
+3 Cooper Kupp LAR Came back in a big way week 3 and has two soft matchups on tap
-17 Chris Godwin TB Aggravated his hamstring, which could mean a lengthy absence
+7 DeVante Parker MIA Re-established as the WR1 in Miami
+8 CeeDee Lamb DAL
-3 Diontae Johnson PIT Could miss time with a concussion but is an ascending talent
+14 Michael Gallup DAL Back on the map but still seems like third in line
-6 A.J. Green CIN Did his inefficiency cause his status to slip?
-5 A.J. Brown TEN Hard to bump him with timetable still unknown
    Tier 5
-14 Odell Beckham CLE The Browns are just unlikely to sustain a top passing offense
+1 Robby Anderson CAR Didn’t see it coming but he’s the #2 in Carolina
+5 D.J. Chark JAC Was 4th in Jacksonville targets before injury
-3 Julian Edelman NE
-5 Marquise Brown BAL
+16 Justin Jefferson MIN Minnesota has fed 2 WRs before, this could be the start of consistent production
+16 Brandon Aiyuk SF The seal has been broken on this dynamic speedster
    Tier 6
+18 Sammy Watkins KC The targets are consistent for now and it’s the Chiefs
+29 Allen Lazard GB The biggest riser with Adams out; he’s the WR I’d want if not for #17
-13 T.Y. Hilton IND Indy wont force the ball into the air unless provoked
-4 Brandin Cooks HOU
+7 Randall Cobb HOU Primary slot in an offense that will need to throw a lot
-4 Preston Williams MIA Finally got in the end zone but the targets aren’t there
-4 Darius Slayton NYG This New York offense only slightly better than the Jets
-3 Jarvis Landry CLE
    Tier 7
+11 Mike Williams LAC Herbert offers some exciting upside for all Chargers; first game was all Allen though
-1 Laviska Shenault Jr JAC Has shown playmaking ability but needs the volume to be a star in our game
NR Hunter Renfrow LV With the top 2 receivers in Vegas hurting, Renfrow should be a PPR asset
-5 Jalen Reagor PHI A premium stash if you can wait on the injury
+12 Deebo Samuel SF Should be back no later than week 5
-4 Russell Gage ATL
-8 Marvin Jones DET
-8 Tre’Quan Smith NO Useful piece as long as Thomas is out
-6 Corey Davis TEN His chance to establish a role is dwindling; Titans just put up 31 points and he went 5-69-0
+3 Jerry Jeudy DEN Functioned primarily out of the slot so far; QB concerns
    Tier 8
-21 DeSean Jackson PHI Another injury leaves the Eagles cupboard bare once again
-7 Marquez Valdes-Scantling GB Week to week variance, but probably a low volume option in GB
-22 Henry Ruggs III LV Whispers of a multi-week injury throw cold water on the exciting rookie
-8 Bryan Edwards LV Has shown promise, but now injured
    Tier 9
NR Tee Higgins CIN 9 targets in week 3 puts him on the map in this extremely high volume attack
NR Gabriel Davis BUF The Bills’ new WR2 would be fantasy relevant if John Brown misses time
NR Andy Isabella ARI 2 very nice touchdowns in week 3 could be the beginning of his breakout
-8 John Brown BUF Injured with a calf strain and history of nagging soft tissue ailments
+6 James Washington PIT Washington or Claypool are both worth a stash while Johnson is out
-6 Mecole Hardman KC
+1 Emmanuel Sanders NO
    Tier 10
-13 N’Keal Harry NE We may look back on week 2 being the anomaly rather than the trend
-7 Jamison Crowder NYJ I have no interest in this offense; Crowder’s timetable is uncertain
+4 Chase Claypool PIT Targets are open as long as Johnson is out
-7 Curtis Samuel CAR Got some extra looks out of the backfield but not exciting for fantasy
-11 K.J. Hamler DEN
-8 Keelan Cole JAC
+2 Golden Tate NYG
-8 Anthony Miller CHI
NR Cole Beasley BUF With John Brown out, he can offer a PPR floor
-7 Christian Kirk ARI Still clinging to hope if he returns strong from his injury
NR Greg Ward PHI Relevant as long as he’s the de facto WR1 in Philadelphia
-7 Michael Pittman Jr IND
-7 Van Jefferson LAR
-1 Miles Boykin BAL Emerging as a weekly piece of this offense
NR Olamide Zaccheaus ATL With the Falcons sustaining multiple injuries, he becomes next in line for production
