Exit polls predict huge win for BJP; 213 seats in Maharashtra, 66 in Haryana

The BJP is predicted to retain power in both Maharasthra and Haryana, according to the exit polls. In Maharashtra, the BJP and Shiv Sena combine are likely to win 213 seats out of the total 288 seats. The Congress and NCP combine are predicted to win only 61 seats. In Haryana, the BJP is likely to win 66 seats, while the Congress gets only 13 seats.

NEW DELHI: The BJP is predicted to retain power with a hugely improved mandate in both Maharasthra and Haryana, according to the exit polls.
In Maharashtra, a poll of six exit polls gives the BJP and Shiv Sena combine 213 seats out of the total 288 seats. The Congress and NCP combine are predicted to win only 61 seats while the other parties may win 14 seats.
In Haryana, a poll of six exit polls gives the BJP 66 seats out of total 90, while the Congress gets only 13 seats and the other parties 11 seats.

Exit poll predictions
If these predictions come true on the day of counting, the BJP will retain power in both the states with a bang, replicating its success story in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

In the outgoing Maharashtra assembly, the BJP had 122 seats, the Shiv Sena 63 seats, the Congress 42 seats and the NCP 41 seats. The other parties had 20 seats.
In Haryana, the BJP had won 47 seats in the 2014 assembly elections. The Congress had 15, the INLD 19 and the other parties had won 9 seats.

Clean sweep predicted for BJP-Shiv Sena in Maharasthra
Times Now Exit Poll
The Times Now exit poll has predicted a whopping majority for the BJP-Shiv Sena combine in Maharashtra, with the ruling coalition expected to win 230 seats. While the BJP may win 130 seats, the Shiv Sena may manage 100 seats.
The Congress and the NCP are likely to be decimated according to the exit poll predictions. The Congress may win only 28 seats while the NCP may bag 20.
ABP-CVoter
The ABP-CVoter exit poll predicts 204 seats for the ruling combine in Maharashtra. The Congress-NCP combine is projected to win 69 seats and the other parties may manage only 15 seats.
India Today-Axis exit poll
The India Today-Axis exit poll has projected 181 seats for the BJP-Shiv Sena and 81 for the Congress-NCP alliance. The other parties may win 26 seats.
News18-IPSOS exit poll
The News18-IPSOS exit poll predicts 243 seats for the BJP-Sena combine and 41 for the Congress-NCP alliance. The other parties may win 4 seats.
Republic-Jan Ki Baat exit poll
The Republic-Jan Ki Baat exit poll has predicted 223 seats for the ruling BJP-Sena alliance. The Congress-NCP combine may win 54 seats and the other parties 11 seats.
TV9-Marathi exit poll
The TV9-Marathi exit poll predicts 197 seats for the BJP-Sena combine, 75 seats for the Congress-NCP alliance and 16 seats for the other parties.
Haryana
In Haryana, while four exit polls have predicted clean sweep for the BJP, two of them predict victory for the ruling party with a lesser margin.
Times Now exit poll
The Times Now exit poll has predicted 71 seats for the BJP in Haryana, while the Congress is likely to come down to 11 seats in the state. The others are predicted to win 8 seats.
CVoter exit poll
The CVoter exit poll predicts 72 seats for the BJP and only 8 for the Congress. The others are predicted to win 11 seats.
IPSOS exit poll
The IPSOS exit poll says the BJP is likely to win 75 seats while the Congress may get 10. The other parties may manage 5 seats.
NEWSX exit poll
The NEWSX exit poll predicts 77 seats for the BJP and 11 for the Congress. The other parties are expected to win only 2 seats
Axis My India-Jan Ki Baat exit poll
The Axis My India-Jan Ki Baat exit poll has predicted 57 seats for the BJP, while the Congress and the other parties are expected to win 17 and 16 seats respectively.
TV9 Bharatvarsh
The TV9 Bharatvarsh has predicted 47 seats for the BJP, while the Congress is expected to win 23 seats and the other parties 20 seats.
