There's always a nice calm between the end of Labor Day sales and the deluge of holiday sales that will soon be upon us. It's like we're in the eye of a deals hurricane, waiting. Or maybe it feels that way because the remnants of an actual hurricane are passing through my neck of the woods right now. Whatever the case, there are still some deals to be found. Our top picks this week include a slew of cameras, discounts on the Apple Watch Series 5, and a brand new iPad, as well as a few good gaming deals.

Olympus TG-6 Rugged Camera for $379 ($70): The Olympus TG-6 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is one of our favorite action cameras. It doesn't have the small form factor of the GoPro Hero series, but it has a larger sensor, an LCD screen, and a better lens, which add up to higher-quality photos. It's also easier to shoot with underwater. This deal is also available at B&H Photo.
Insta360 One R Twin Edition for $432 ($48 off): Insta360's One R (8/10, WIRED Recommends) modular camera can handle all your action cam needs and 360 camera needs—you just swap the lenses. This bundle is for the 360 lens and 4K lens.
Fujifilm X100F for $999 ($300 off): The latest X100 series, the X100V (9/10, WIRED Recommends) adds a new lens, but this older model is still a wonderfully capable, and highly portable, camera. It's a bargain at this price. B&H Photo has the same deal on the black model if that's more your style.
Panasonic Lumix G9 Mirrorless Camera With Kit Lens for $1,198 ($500 off): The Panasonic Lumix G9 features a 20.3-megapixel Micro Four Thirds sensor but can also do an in-camera JPEG or RAW composite image for an 80-megapixel combined image. You also get five-axis dual image stabilization and 4K video at up to 60 fps.
Tamrac Goblin Lens Pouch for $10 ($10 off): I don't have a dedicated camera bag; I just drop my lenses in some of these pouches and carry them in my everyday bag. Some smaller lenses I put in an old drink coozie first, then put that in one of these for an extra layer of padding.
Lexar 128-Gigabyte SDXC Memory Card for $35 ($10 off): This card is plenty fast enough for all your photo and video needs, and 128 GB should give you room to shoot most of the day and not run out of space. If you have a camera with dual card slots, you can also grab a two-pack for $63 ($21 off).

Apple iPad 8th-Gen for $299 ($30 off): Apple's newest eighth-generation iPad is already on sale at Walmart. This one supports Apple's Smart Keyboard and Pencil (separate purchases), and the processor inside is plenty powerful for most tasks.
Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS, 38 mm) for $169 ($30 off): The Apple Watch Series 6 is here, but it's expensive. The Series 3 is a much better entry point into the world of smartwatches, and while it doesn't have newer features like an always-on display, electrocardiogram, or blood oxygen saturation measurements, it can do almost everything else, including sleep tracking.
Apple AirPods Pro for $199 ($50 off): Apple's AirPods Pro (8/10, WIRED Recommends) offer outstanding sound quality and excellent active noise canceling. They're comfortable and sweatproof, and they work flawlessly with your iPhone and iPad. The downside is the battery life—only 4.5 hours outside the case.
Jabra Elite 45e for $30 ($70 off): These Bluetooth wireless headphones are IP67 water-resistant and make good workout headphones, especially at this price.
Syma X20 Pocket Quadcopter for $10 ($21 off): Syma's X20 is our favorite toy drone. It's tiny, like fit-in-your-palm-with-room-to-spare tiny, but fun. It's also a good way to practice flying. Crashing a $10 drone is considerably less traumatizing than crashing your $1,000 one.
Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5, AMD Ryzen, 16-GB RAM, 256-GB SSD for $710 ($90 off): This Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 offers a lot of laptop for the price. It happens to be the laptop I'm typing on right now. I'm not done testing, but I can tell you it's tough to beat a 14-inch 1080p touchscreen, AMD Ryzen 5 2.30GHz processor, 16 GB RAM, and a 256-GB SSD at this price. The only thing I dislike is Windows 10 Home. You can upgrade to Pro for $99. Alternatively, with a little internet searching and a Windows 7/8 Pro or Ultimate license from an old machine, you may be able to upgrade for free.
TCL 10 Pro for $380 ($70 off): Clip the coupon to see the discount at checkout. This isn't our favorite cheap phone—that's the Google Pixel 4A—but the TCL 10 Pro offers similarly good performance, capable cameras, and a great screen for the price. The TCL 10L is also on sale for $210 ($40 off). Its biggest weak point is the camera.
Acer Nitro 5 17-Inch Gaming Laptop for $1,050 ($350 off): This Acer is big, but it packs a wallop. You get a 17-inch display, an Nvidia RTX 2060 graphics card, 16 GB of RAM, a 512-GB SSD, and an Intel Core i7 chip. It isn't hard to open up and upgrade the hard drive and RAM later, too.
