Travel operator Tui has cancelled more holidays to Portugal for customers from the UK.
The firm has announced they have now extended the ongoing suspension of trips to the popular holiday hotspot up to and including August 16, 2020.
A spokesperson said Tui will “continue to review its holiday programme in line with UK Government advice”.
It comes after the UK’s largest tour operator cancelled all trips to mainland Spain until at least August 17 following a rise in coronavirus cases in the region.
Customers due to travel to mainland Spain and Portugal between August 17 and 31 or to the Balearic Islands and Canary Islands between August 10 and 16 can amend their booking - with the possibility of a rebooking incentive.
Alternatively there is the option to cancel in return for a full refund.
