HsinYing Tsai (UI) & Nikolaj Mokrý (UX) from Kuoni Tumlare will take you on a discovery tour of innovating the multicultural traditional business.

Imagine a global B2B travel company founded two centuries ago. Imagine, that this company still runs on a software from the last century operated via command line. Now imagine this company suddenly feels the need to change and creates Digital Transformation department. You are a service designer in that department. Your task is clear: innovate, transform, reinvent. You have the experience and skills. So you start with the basics - getting understanding, agree on the plan, start designing. Not so fast, hold your horses, my hero.

Designing for the people of different culture, different habits, speaking the language you don’t, can be challenging. Designing with these people is not so easy either. We will talk about the main challenges, go through some real world examples and discuss with you the best practices.
