Leonardo Spinazzola will not join Inter until at least tomorrow according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

The Italian defender is set to arrive at the Nerazzurri in a swap deal that will see Inter winger Matteo Politano head in the opposite direction.

The two players travelled to Milan and Rome respectively today to undergo their medicals with their new employers but Spinazzola has not finished his.

He will therefore complete his medical at some point tomorrow and afterwards the deal can then be confirmed by both clubs.

Should the deal be confirmed tomorrow, Spinazzola would become the first player brought in by the Nerazzurri during this transfer window.

Inter are also understood to be working on deals to sign Tottenham Hotspur and Denmark international midfielder Christian Eriksen as well as Chelsea and France striker Olivier Giroud, a deal for whom could be completed over the weekend.
