If you are waiting for EFCC to stop this unwarranted clamp down, abuse, oppressive and archaic style of operation that violets the rights of Southern youths, they will not stop because they are making a lot of money from the boys as easy, soft and defenseless targets and they do this in partnership with the corrupt judges who convicts the boys to give credence to the abuse and by so doing destroyed their future. The Government will not call them to order until violent resistance and protest starts.. The only way to stop this madness and abuse is, Southern youths should keep Gasoline products around, once you notice their presence in your neighborhood, rush out to burn the rogue operational vehicle they came with as to demobilize them and descend on as many as came for the operation with whatever you can lay your hands on in your numbers.. Do not fear the bully police officers they came with that are holding arms.. To tell you that the corrupt Nigerian judges are part of this abuse against Southern youths, how can a judge considering the hardship and poor background of these boys, ask them to forfeit whatever that is recovered from them including their phones and laptops to Nigerian government and still goes ahead to sentence them with bail option of half a million or more than, where do you expect the deprived boys and parents by Government to get money to meet this bail demand? Why don’t you use whatever you recovered from them as what they used to bargain their freedom if you must convict them? Have anybody asked the content of plea bargain EFCC always forced the boys to enter with them as to reduce their charges? . As a Southern person, I am pained by this because this same measures can’t apply against Northern youths and have no place in a JUST and FREE society.. EFCC must be condemned by every right thinking Southern person whether you like the boys or not.. Here in the Western society, we don’t support injustice against our enemies or people we don’t like their face because once you do that, you have emboldened the oppressor and weakened the system. Internet scam is a social crime not a crime against humanity or the State that an agency like EFCC should waste tax payers money fighting as EFCC has descended so low to join unexposed Nigerians to use the name of a reputable web provider (yahoo) to describe internet scam. EFCC now connived with rogue SARS / police officers to abuse Southern youths as SARS and Police now threatens Southern youths with EFCC if they fail to part with huge amount of money for settlement. The abusive method of operation by EFCC has emboldened rogue police men most especially SARS.. Benin / Ore expressway, Southern youths are under siege by rogue SARS officers who stop vehicles to search their phones and bags as I continue to ask, is this how internet scam is tackled in other climes? .. Distribute to create awareness.. This abuse by EFCC must stop in Southern Nigeria.. EFCC and SARS have made the line of civilization of Nigeria to be backward instead of upward and they must be violently resisted.

Dear all, Internet scam is not corruption nor a violent crime that endangers the lives of citizens and foreign investors, is a social crime and if you doubt check the meaning of social crime online. The use of telecommunication gadgets are private and not prohibited items / gadgets that people should be arrested for and these items tendered as exhibit or evidence. I have lived in USA and other parts of Europe but currently in UK, people are arrested for internet scam through petition and complain by victims after discrete investigation is conducted linking the accuse with the crime or through the use of technology by security agencies that detected your illegal online activities not through report by envious neighbors or friends.. Here people work smart and what working smart means is working from home with your phones and computers as 85% of businesses here are conducted online and people have their offices in their homes.. Your neighbor here does not care if you leave the house every morning or not and what you do to survive is not his or her business because no one pays your bill as he or she does not even know your face. Right of privacy, liberty and dignity is respected here.. Is there any law that prevents Nigerians from making foreign friends, interacting with foreigners, belonging to social dating sites and having foreign contacts in their phones?.. EFCC at the time of Ribadu was like FBI in America that comes and makes arrest after conducting discrete investigation and when you are arrested you will be provided with evidences against you not arresting you to commence investigation and coming to the media to tell the world that you have confessed to the crime which is so unprofessional as it means investigation was never conducted against you before arrest rather on mere suspicion or relied on report from envious neighbors and their informants who is acting to receive stipends from EFCC. The danger in this method of operation is, if I don't like your face and not sure of how your are surviving out of envy, I can report to EFCC that you are a suspected criminal ( Internet fraudster) and EFCC will come and violets your right of privacy. As an adult, how will you feel that a random search is conducted on your phone and computer that are your private effects? Doesn't it mean violation of your rights to privacy and liberty / citizenship right that is a natural right to you as a citizen? Will EFCC stop Southern youths from making use of cyberspace and using modern telecommunication gadgets to stop internet scam because cyber crime is encompassing and majority who are accusing these boys here out of envy are guilty of cyber crime in one way or the other on daily basis because cyber crime is not just tricking money from a foreigner through the use of internet. I went to Mali, Kenyan and Ghana in these places, young citizens uses modern automobiles, wears gold and uses latest telecommunication gadgets and no one arrests them as suspected criminals and this is called enjoying the right of citizenship in your country. This is modern world, people live in cyberspace and artificial intelligence is ruling the world as working does not mean being on Government pay roll or having a shop in a popular market where you sale one item or the other that people can see. The owner of facebook and other social media platforms and web providers are supper rich and they do not have a shop neither are they on government pay roll . EFCC with this crude method of operation are denying Nigerian youths most especially Southern youths the opportunity of exploring the world through cyberspace like their peers in other parts of the world.. Internet scam is an age long thing due to technological advancement not a social crime limited to Nigerians alone that an agency like EFCC will waste tax payers money fighting .. Here there are places you don't make use of your credit card if not, junkies will swap it and wipe your money off.. These are crimes that are more prevalent here in Western World that nobody talks about or gives attention. Why EFCC arrest and parade young citizens ( Southern youths) as criminals to the world for a crime against invincible foreigners who neither complained nor petitioned?. EFCC has made so much money through these helpless southern youths and is time to start condemning this outdated and abusive method of operation and resist it. EFCC said they are not working ( On Government pay roll) but living above their means, since they are not working, how are you able to measure their means of income to know that they are living above their means? This method of operation by EFCC can only be allowed where citizens do not know their right and live in fear if not, it would have attracted strong resistance and wider condemnation to put a stop to it. Who is the complainant and petitioner in the case of these southern youths accused of yahoo yahoo (mere internet scam)? FBI investigates internet scam through petition by victims before arrest is made after linking the accuse with the crime not by mass arrest as suspected internet fraudsters due to choice of automobiles, telecommunication gadgets and life style.. This archaic and uncivilized method of operation by EFCC for personal gain must be condemned by all and protested against as it violets citizens right of privacy, liberty, freedom and choice even the almighty citizenship right.. No nation on earth confiscates assets and properties of her private citizens back home for outsmarting foreigners for local economic benefit as whatever proceed of crime in foreign nations is repatriated and invested in local economy.. Lebanese, Chinese, Indians, Americans, British all takes advantage of foreigners and back home their government gives them state protection as long as the proceed of whatever crime they committed in foreign nations or against foreigners is invested in local economy ( Their home economy) . People must start condemning this abuse by EFCC for personal gain and start resisting arrests like this.. Internet scam is a global trend due to human and technology advancement and prevalent in civilized nations than in Nigeria and other third world countries but no one gives it attention nor citizens arrested in mass for engaging in it. EFCC through this outdated method of operation has made the use of telecommunication gadgets like phones and computers look like a crime and not personal effects any more as most Southern youths now fear to walk around with latest phones or even purchase them for fear of violation by EFCC and SARS who are hiding behind Government to intimidate and abuse citizens.For this abuse to stop southern youths must mobilize and start confronting EFCC violently, target them and their families in Southern Nigeria for attack ( Kidnapping) and if possible burn down all their zonal offices in Southern Nigeria as EFCC can't make Southerners slaves and live in fear in their own country.. EFCC was never set up to be a moral police as its core mandate is fighting Governmental fraud, abuse of public office and economic sabotage against Nigeria that affects the economy and deprives citizens not going after private citizens as suspected internet fraudsters to dispossess them hiding behind Government backed authority.. Economic and Financial Crimes Commission What is the economic benefit of cyber crime ( Internet Scam) cases against foreigners who neither petitioned nor complained?. EFCC wasting tax payers money making case for unidentifiable foreigners who neither complained nor petitioned. EFCC through this outdated method of operation is limiting the growth of technology in Nigeria and killing the market as young Nigerians this sector thrives on are targeted by EFCC as fraudsters, arrested and imprisoned.. If Mark Zuckerberg the owner of facebook was a Nigerian, EFCC would have killed the facebook initiative as he would have been termed a fraudster for inventing facebook. You are returning money to foreigners from an economy on life support thereby, being more catholic than the pope at your own economic detriment.. The countries you are returning the monies to, do they return monies swindled from Nigerians through their system and corporations even from individual citizens of those countries? China and the rest the of World will be laughing at you.. Ever since you declared war against Southern youths as Internet Fraudsters, you have not noticed purchasing power in Nigeria has drastically reduced and businesses these boys patronizes winding up most especially automobile business even ICT market is been affected as it has impacted negatively on the economy.
