Justice Nicholas Oweibo of a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has ordered two businessmen, Chukwuma Nwodo and Abor Ikechukwu, to be remanded in prison custody for allegedly destroying the seal of Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) and gaining access into the warehouse to cart away substandard electric cables.
The judge gave the order yesterday after the accused pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge.
Meanwhile, the judge has fixed October 24, 2019, for commencement of their trial.
