Directors Zozo JhenYen-Chen LiuEllis Kayin ChanTena van der Galović and Marine Varguy’s graduate film from Gobelins, l’École de l’image follows a 7 year-old boy as he struggles to navigate the traditional Taiwanese funeral of his grandfather.

Clams Casino – “Healing”

Lovely distorted visuals for Clams Casino’s track “Healing” by New York City-based director Timothy Saccenti (previously featured here). Choreography by Stephen Petronio.

Son Lux – “Yesterday’s Wake”

Great style, intensity and attention to detail in this video for Son Lux’s track “Yesterday’s Wake” by Prague-based writer-director Marek Partyš and Bratislava-based cinematographer Dušan Husár.

“Jarressey” by Jamie Demetriou & Joseph Pelling

Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared fans, rejoice! Joseph Pelling teams up with British comedian Jamie Demetriou for a brilliant blend of live-action and animation in this quirky short about a guy named Jarressey who finally lands a job but is somehow unable to eat anything after he finds out.
