Serena Williams uploaded a video of herself singing to ‘I Touch Myself’ lyrics to raise awareness for Breast cancer on her Instagram Page.
Though the Athlete covered her breast with her hands, she tagged the post with the caption below
“This Breast Cancer Awareness Month I’ve recorded a version of The Divinyls global hit ‘I Touch Myself’ to remind women to self-check regularly,”
“Yes, this put me out of my comfort zone, but I wanted to do it because it’s an issue that affects all women of all colours, all around the world. Early detection is key — it saves so many lives.”
The song was co-written by Divinyls vocalist Chrissy Amphlett (Australian) who passed away due to the disease by the age of 53.
