Winks' three appearances in 2018 have been in the FA Cup

Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks has signed a new five-year contract, which will expire in the summer of 2023.

Winks, 22, made 25 appearances for the Premier League club this season but only three since the turn of the year.

He made his England debut in October, but an ankle injury hampered him during the second half of the campaign.

Central defender Cameron Carter-Vickers, 20, has also committed his future to Tottenham by agreeing a new contract until 2021.

    So 4 younger players have extended their existing contracts Carter-vickers, Walker-Peters, Davidson Sanchez and Harry Winks. All positive news.

    Those who watch Harry play regularly will appreciate what a good signing this is for Spurs.
    He is a an exceptional young talent; he reads the game, passes and tackles well and is extremely hard working.
    If he continues to improve, maintains his work ethic and fulfils his potential, he will be a very important player for many years to come, both for Spurs and hopefully too for England.

    Ace news, come on Spurs! class player who has had injury issues this season. He will shut you doubters up. 3rd 2nd 3rd on a budget. new stadium which is better than yours who ever you are. a couple of class signings and booooooom, look out losers. Pride of London. average season but still finished above Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.

    A great shame he wasn't available for World Cup selection. He was excellent until his injury.

    The three Harry's could be the spine of the England team for years to come. :o)

    Harry Maguire has been outstanding this season and has grown in stature.

    Such bad luck with his injury, found himself in the starting line-ups v Dortmund and Real due to others injuries, and kops one himself. He surprised me in those games, he was getting better and better. I think he's been missed in the rest of this season, keeps and moves the ball very well, looks to go forward quickly more than the likes of Dier. Slightly worried by the length of recovery though.

    Yes I agree, less points/lower position. Wembley Curse apparently meant we wouldn't get top 4. But over the past 4 to 5 years, Spurs are consistently improving under Poch. Currently the best team in London.
