Sen. Elizabeth Warren, meet Saturday Night Live Elizabeth Warren.

The real Warren popped over to SNL for a surprise appearance during the show's cold open. The show kicked off with Kate McKinnon as Fox News host Laura Ingraham reluctantly covering the coronavirus outbreak.

Face palm through the coronavirus positivity of Jeanine Pirro (Cecily Strong), Donald Trump Jr. (Mikey Day), Eric Trump (Alex Moffat), and Chris Matthews (Darrell Hammond) before Warren emerges at the 07:30 mark.

McKinnon pulled off a quick costume change, transforming from Ingraham to Warren, to come face to face with the real Warren and deliver the show's famous "Live from New York..." tag line.
