This one will make you sweat

Very well designed program for fat loss and conditioning. Along the way Jeff teaches barbell and dumbbell strength exercises and the focus is moving from pure conditioning to conditioning plus strength components. It offers different levels and is a pretty good program to get used to a barbell. Love and recommend it.

Excellent Program-Adapts to ALL Levels

Athlean-X Max Shred has been a tremendous program for me. I am a 39 year old male. I have been working out off and on since my time as a HS athlete, but I had let myself get badly out of shape. This program was so effective for me because it has such a wide variety of excercises that were all very challenging! Each workout has multiple levels to meet the various needs of the athletes. Some of the “Black Widow” workouts were too difficult for me to complete. Overall I was able to lose 25 lbs and make significant strength gains! I am planning to work through the program again before selecting another Athlean-X program. Thanks Jeff!

Helps push the boundaries

I have really enjoy this plan. Having lost a few stone before starting the program it has helped me push my boundaries for what I can do weight and repetition wise. I followed a balanced diet then a low carb diet towards the last three week. It great part of the program was the scale system for each exercise and phase. I am getting more fit look from a fat look now so next you is the ripped look.

Great W/O

Normally I like straight lifting programs that involve cardio days plugged in here and there. This program does not have as much lifting as I normally like to do, but it showed me that a good balance of lifting and cardio can produce excellent results. I feel better all around. I highly recommend this workout for anyone who is looking to shed the weight, have more energy, look great, and feel amazing. Thank you Jeff for adding balance to my workout and my life.

Lost 5 kg and increased strength

As it says in the title, managed to lose 5kg (about 11 pounds) while increasing strength in deadlift, squats, and several other lifts. I used my own diet with a slight caloric deficit, but on days on heavy workouts on Month 3 I was using ballpark 500kcal or more. My only complaint is that the program is a bit brutal on the knees. Excellent other than that.

Good conditioning program

I found this program quite challenging at times it has a mix of everything, loved the black widow routines she is a tough b****. I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking to shred some fat and get stronger its great give it a go!

Great conditioning

Overall a great program. It is targeted for fat loss and I definitely achieved that, but I was most impressed with the improvements I saw in conditioning. It was even better than Xero in that regard. The workouts are great. If you stick to the rest times you will see the most benefit.
