Sonam Kapoor calls ‘Thappad’ actress Taapsee Pannu a ‘clutter breaker’, here’s what the latter has to say

Actress Taapsee Pannu is currently busy garnering praise for her upcoming film ‘Thappad’. The Anubhav Sinha directorial has already been screened in several cities and everyone has only good things to say. The film also received a standing ovation from the audiences.
Now ahead of film’s release, Sonam Kapoor too is all praise for Taapsee. Taking to her Twitter account, Sonam tweeted, “I really like @taapsee she’s quite a clutter breaker.”

Taapsee was quick to respond, “Thank you so much Sonam ! So sweet of you.Big hug. It takes all of us to break the clutter we have been stuck in for years.”

‘Thappad’ is about of domestic violence and how a woman refuses to accept being slapped by her husband. The film was recently screened in Delhi and it got an overwhelming response from the audience. Reacting on it, Taapsee said, “It has been a thrilling ride to work on ‘Thappad’ along with Anubhav sir, especially after Mulk (2018). We’re proud of what we’ve achieved through the film and the audience reaction has been great,” she shared, adding, “The film did make men question their ‘right’ by the end of it. Seeing the responses makes it all the more worth it.”
Director Anubhav Sinha, also the film’s co-producer, said, “The first screening of a film always make you nervous and my last three films ended up having their first shows in Delhi. The crowd here comprises eminent people from various fields — journalists, painters, writers and poets — and ordinary citizens too. I’m happy ‘Thappad’ managed to touch them personally; can’t wait to show it to the world.”
