DStv opens up full range of SuperSport channels to all paid-up subscribers for 18 days

As a winter bonus for paid-up DStv subscribers, SuperSport’s selection of channels is being opened to viewing by subscribers  on  DStv  Access, Family, Compact and  Compact Plus bouquets for an 18-day period in July, while the complete selection of children’s entertainment channels is also being placed in open viewing for the same period.

Liz Dziva, publicity and public relations manager of MultiChoice Zimbabwe, said the SuperSport and children’s channels open viewing period would run from Friday July 13 to Tuesday July 31, during which time the popular sports channels and young viewers’ channels normally only available to DStv Premium subscribers would be universally available.

“The only pre-requisite is that viewers must be active, which means subscriptions must be up to date,” she said.

“It’s an exciting opportunity for sports-loving viewers to catch up on a range of sporting action and to see the wide variety of sports covered on the SuperSport selection, while for younger viewers on limited bouquets it is a chance to enjoy the world-class selection of programming available on the youngsters’ channels.”

The open viewing period includes some top sporting action, including the Wimbledon finals weekend, the ongoing Tour de France, Formula 1 racing, athletics and rugby sevens, as well as a wide number of other international events.

Cartoon Network (DStv Channel 301) will air a vast selection of exciting kiddies’ including new episodes of Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs starting Tuesday, 16 July weekdays at 07:30 .  On NickToons (DStv Channel 451), catch Peppa Pig weekdays at 09:50  and Munki and Trunk weekdays at 17:15.

“The idea is to ensure there is something for everyone, and the only way to take advantage of this is to stay connected,” said Dziva.

“The open viewing gives  DStv viewers an insight into the range of content on DStv Premium and is aimed at being a reward for support and continued active subscriptions to subscribers to DStv Access, Family, Compact and Compact Plus”
