Christian Eriksen wishes to join Inter this month according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

The Danish international’s agent Martin Schoots is currently in London to work out a deal with Tottenham Hotspur after his client reached an agreement over personal terms for a move to Inter.

Inter are hopeful that former manager Jose Mourinho could do them a favour by sanctioning Eriksen’s sale and it would also be of benefit to Mourinho to do this as it means he will not lose Eriksen for nothing in the Summer and will have some extra funds to spend this month.

The report goes on to explain that Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta will soon finalise the sale of Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa to Flamengo and complete the signing of Olivier Giroud from Chelsea.

The broadcaster’s report also states that talks between Inter and Roma over a swap deal involving Matteo Politano and Leonardo Spinazzola are progressing well.

It concludes by stating that Manchester United’s Ashley Young and Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal are no longer deemed as priorities by the Nerazzurri.
