Inter have decided that the club wants to retain the services of Croatian duo Ivan Perisic and Marcelo Brozovic, adding them to the list of players who are not on the transfer market according to Italian TV channel SportItalia.

According to the report, the club will not under any conditions consider using the duo as pawns in a larger negotiation. This comes as a direct response to the outrageous claim by Milan’s Sporting Director, Massimiliano Mirabelli, who claimed that Inter would have to part with “Perisic, Brozovic and Icardi” if they wanted to take Spanish winger Suso away from the Rossoneri.

Instead, Inter are interested in building on their Croatian contingency. The club are on the look out for a new right full-back as has been widely reported, and one name on that list is Šime Vrsaljko. The Atletico Madrid player is currently in Russia with Perisic and Brozovic representing Croatia in the FIFA World Cup, and SportItalia claim that in the coming weeks the Nerazzurri’s interest could become stronger and more concrete.

The 26 year old is no stranger to Serie A, having previously represented both Genoa and Sassuolo before moving to Diego Simeone’s Los Colchoneros.
