Listen to Chris Cornell and His Daughter’s Prince Cover

In honor of Father’s Day, Toni Cornell—daughter of Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell—has shared a previously unheard duet with her late father. It’s a cover of Prince’s “Nothing Compares 2 U.” Listen below. In the video description of the track, Toni also shared a note dedicated to her dad. “Recording this song with you was a special and amazing experience I wish I could repeat 100 times over and I know you would too,” she writes. “Happy Father’s Day daddy, nothing compares to you.”

Earlier this year, a posthumous recording of Chris Cornell covering Johnny Cash was released earlier this year as part of a Cash compilation album. May 18 marked the one-year anniversary of Cornell’s death.
