Telelombardia director Fabio Ravezzani has taken to social media platform Twitter to share his thoughts and feelings on Inter’s performance in their 2-1 defeat to Barcelona in the final Champions League group stage match on Tuesday night.

As a result of the loss to the Catalan giants, who fielded a largely rotated team including several young players, Antonio Conte’s Inter side have been eliminated from the competition and will play in the Europa League in the new year.

“The Champions League ends bitterly for Inter. There are many regrets for having missed out on an achievable goal. More could have been done. Inter were not lacking commitment but were lacking lucidity in the final third,” he posted.
