This past Tuesday night on SmackDown Live Samoa Joe defeated Big Cass and Daniel Bryan in a Triple Threat match and became the last man to qualify for the Men’s Money In The Bank (MITB) Ladder match.
Many fans were disappointed WWE didn’t put Bryan in the match instead. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the reason for WWE not putting Bryan in the match is because they’re looking out for his health.
Ladder matches present a higher risk of neck and concussion injuries, something they’d like to avoid for Bryan. Instead, it looks like Bryan will be continuing his feud with Big Cass.
