Advanced democracy manifestly at work. Freedom of speech and not hate speech Oh God help Nigeria because we are not there yet. We are several miles behind if hate speech has suddenly become what our Nation and our leaders put at the front burner of our National discourse when children are dying of malnutrition and disease with no proper affordable health care. No good schools. No security No guarantee for tomorrow No stable electricity No jobs No credible election. No order Its quite painful and heartbreaking to say the least. I wonder how depressing and sad the founding fathers of Nigeria will be in their graves seeing the decay,decadence and rot our system has suddenly declined to. The first stanza of our National anthem says Arise oh compatriots Nigeria's call we obey. Are our leaders truly obeying Nigeria's call? Have they truly stood up for the interest of our dear country? We must think and act now. We must think and act quickly We must think and correct the wrongs and ills that has bedevilled us as a Nation quickly or we may end up in more woes. Kidnapping, robbery,prostitution and drug abuse are the known social vices but more will be unfolded if our leaders don't wake up. The country is sliding into lawlessness very fast. Government must act now.
