President Muhammadu Buhari has described the Chief Imam of Katsina Juma’at Mosque as a true leader who spent his days praying and teaching the values of the Quran.
President Buhari condoled with the people of Katsina Emirate Council and prayed that Almighty Allah accepts his soul.
The Emir of Katsina, Abdulmumini Kabir while receiving President Buhari at his palace expresses appreciation for the visit, urging him to continue to work under the limited resources available.
He noted in Hausa that 80% of the emerging problems rocking Nigeria are being created artificially to relegate the president to the background.
The religious leader passed away this Sunday at the age of 95 leaving behind four wives and twenty children.
He was said to have lived a worthy and highly recommendable life that will be remembered by posterity.
Muslims are therefore urged to emulate him by living the virtues of love, peace and neighbourliness he lived and propagated.
